International Collaborations For Colleges and Universities
The Fulbright Center will serve as a catalyst for sustainable international partnerships and networks among educational institutions. In this program, the Center will foster and coordinate bilateral and multi-lateral partnerships among colleges and universities throughout the world, offering unique services that enrich participating institutions' teaching and research in international peace making. The Center's activities in this program include:
Leadership in the Field
Providing leadership in organizing academic partnerships among higher education institutions, in countries in hot or cold conflict with one another, to develop and implement shared research and teaching programs aimed at a common understanding of their history of differences.
Hosting Conferences
Hosting or cosponsoring topical conferences resulting in papers which describe historical, political, and ethnic issues, and recommend strategies for resolving conflicts and differences;
Creating Connections
Creating connections to the worldwide network of Fulbright program alumni, commissions and foundations who will be invited to participate in these international collaborations.
The purpose of all the Fulbright Center's programs and activities is to connect people who are interested in sharing significant cultural immersion experiences or participating in institutional collaborations. The Fulbright Center will promote complementary activities offered by related organizations.
